Who We're Looking For:
- Someone who consistently cares about their music, the crowd, and the event team at any event

- No previous official DJ experience necessary, previous experience in music, entertainment, or relevant field encouraged.
Types of Events Include:
- Weddings & Private Parties (Family gatherings, Birthdays, Bar/Bat Mitzvahs)
- School dances, Field Days, Graduations
- Corporate/non-profit fundraisers and events (Races, Ceremonies)
What's Your Role?
- Mix and play music that connects the audience to their event, elevating their overall experience. Taking requests when instructed to by planning team or event contact
- Deliver and set-up company-supplied audio/visual equipment at event locations, meeting the package requirements booked by the client
- Follow the provided timeline so the run-of-show flows smoothly and efficiently. Use this timeline to direct the team as well
- Lead the event staff and planners/coordinators, creating a winning team for the client
- Provide clear, concise, and energetic announcements that inform the audience and add overall value to the event
- Troubleshoot any technical issues that arise without losing composure or track of timing on event
- Tear down carefully and return equipment in good condition to the company warehouse at the end of the event
Additional Qualifications
- Ability to filter music genres and songs for specific events, can build proper playlists to reuse throughout different events
- Interest in mastering DJ software, learning the ins and outs of standard event A/V equipment, and developing a strong ability to trouble-shoot problems that could arise on an event
- Ability to lift equipment in and out of vehicle; equipment can weigh up to 88lbs

- Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle
- Formal attire for weddings and corporate events (we provide work shirts to be worn for casual events and crewing)
- Reliable laptop computer and smart phone
- Schedule: Weekdays, Saturdays and Sundays available

- This is independent contract work, not a full-time position. Hours are flexible and depend on the needs of different events. You can choose which events work best with your schedule.
- You have the freedom to accept or decline any event that you are offered. There are no quotas or minimums to remain on the event team. We understand people have different availability and desires for workload.
