StookU Music is a professional music academy offering 1-on-1 virtual lessons to students nationwide. We currently have over 35 instructors and more than 650 students, conducting nearly 3,000 lessons each month.

What We Provide
- Student Acquisition: All students are enrolled by our Student Advisors. Most instructors have a full schedule within two weeks.
- Scheduling & Tech: We provide professional scheduling software and a reliable virtual lesson platform.
- Admin & Management: Our team handles all scheduling, billing, and administrative work.
- Head Instructor Mentorship: Receive personalized coaching and support from department leaders.
Instructor Responsibilities
- Create and deliver engaging, customized lesson plans
- Conduct high-quality 1-on-1 virtual music lessons
- Continually refine your teaching methods and grow as an educator
What We’re Looking For
- Self-motivated, proactive professionals
- Experience teaching adults virtually preferred (comparable experience may be considered)
- Formal music education or real-world performance/teaching experience
- Strong communication and conversational skills
- Excellent organization and attention to detail
- Adaptability, professionalism, and a growth mindset
Minimum Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience teaching 1-on-1 music lessons
- 15+ hours/week availability, including 2–3 evening shifts
- A reliable internet connection and a distraction-free teaching space

Special Note
We're looking for instructors who connect deeply with students in a remote setting. Ideal candidates are both teachers and mentors—professionals who show up consistently, communicate clearly, and create an exceptional learning experience.
