Job Overview
We are seeking a talented and passionate Musician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in worship experience and a keen interest in collaborating with other artists. This role involves performing at various services, rehearsing regularly, and contributing creatively to our projects. A background in music composition is a plus, as it enhances the overall worship experience.

Responsibilities

Work closely with Director of Creative Arts and Senior Pastor to plan and coordinate all the music/musician worship needs and ministries of the congregation.
Lead worship weekly in the 10:00am Worship Services throughout the year.
Recruit, teach, direct, nurture, and develop music skills of singers and instrumentalists who have a desire to serve through music – enabling them to use their gifts in service to God.
Weekly rehearsal with our praise & worship band / team in preparation for Sunday worship.
Participate and support the vision for cohesive worship design with preacher/teacher, musician team, and media support team for all worship styles.
Collaborate with other musicians and artists to create cohesive worship experience.
Must be available to participate in rehearsals to refine musical arrangements..
Adapt musical arrangements as needed for dynamic worship albeit contemporary and or traditional as led by Spirit.
Maintain and care for musical instruments and equipment.
Engage with the congregation and worship leader.
Stay current with music trends and techniques to enhance worship quality.

Qualifications

A deep and growing love for Christ.
A demonstrated history of leading effective traditional and contemporary worship.
Agreement with the vision, direction, and theological beliefs of Bread of Life Church.
A commitment to mobilize the gifts of the congregation and apply them to furthering the mission of the church.
An ability to organize and administrate as a leader.
A proven team player who values healthy church interaction.
An affinity and a deep love for engaging in worship.
A thorough understanding and familiarity with the common contemporary worship styles of the current time.
Proven experience as a musician, with proficiency in at least one musical instrument and/or vocal performance.
Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team environment.
Flexibility to adapt to various worship situations.
Willingness to rehearse regularly and commit to scheduled worship times.
Passion for music and dedication to delivering high-quality.

Pay: $150.00 - $250.00 per week
