Cincinnati School of Music cofounders Anna and Joe Backer first met while studying music at a summer festival. From the start, they shared a passion for music that led them to pursue their dreams and build a community music school for students of all ages.

What started as a small music studio has grown into three thriving music schools in Mason, Montgomery, and Anderson. Voted Best Music Instruction six times in Cincy Magazine, CSM provides top-rated music instruction and much more. “We want to go beyond your expectations at CSM. It is a happy atmosphere here because we love what we do, and we believe we are bringing something important to our community”, says Anna Backer.
