Chorus History
The Columbus Symphony Chorus, established in 1960, performs regularly with the Symphony to present expansive choral-orchestral works at the iconic Ohio Theatre. Comprising 130 skilled volunteer singers from the Central Ohio region, the chorus showcases its versatility by performing a repertoire that spans from Bach to the twenty-first century.
Critics consistently praise the chorus for its exceptional performances, as noted in the New York Concert Review: “This was choral singing of impeccable realization and subtle shading.”
