Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Instrumental Music Orchestra Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in music education and a commitment to fostering a love of music in student at Elementary and Middle school Level. This role involves developing engaging lesson plans, managing classroom dynamics, and providing individualized support to students. The Music Teacher will play a vital role in enhancing the musical skills and appreciation of students while encouraging creativity and self-expression.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement a comprehensive music curriculum that caters to various skill levels and age groups.
Conduct engaging music lessons that include vocal training, instrument instruction, and music theory.
Manage classroom behavior effectively to create a positive learning environment.
Provide tutoring and additional support for students needing extra help in music concepts.
Collaborate with other educators to integrate music into broader educational programs.
Organize and participate in school performances, recitals, and other musical events.
Maintain communication with parents regarding student progress and any concerns.
Adapt teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning styles and special education needs.

Requirements

Proven experience in teaching music, with a strong understanding of curriculum development and lesson planning with a concentration in Strings preferred
Classroom management skills with experience working with children of various ages, including preschool experience.
Ability to engage students through creative teaching methods, including the integration of dance, theater, or culinary arts into lessons when applicable.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40.00 - $58.00 per hour
