Christ United Methodist Church is seeking a Part-Time Director of Music Ministry to join its staff.

About us:

We are a beautifully diverse, multicultural, and spirit-filled congregation. We offer a variety of worship styles, services, and education experiences. We are seeking someone to lead our music ministry. The person will be required to oversee the ministry, recruit and manage any hired supplemental directors or staff members, develop a music focused program for youth, plan music for weekly worship in conjunction with the Worship committee and Sr. Pastor, and other related tasks. They will be required to recruit teachers and volunteers, lead some evangelistic efforts, work with Youth Group and Music ministry leaders on youth programming, as well as other related duties. The position will report directly to the Senior Pastor and Executive Leadership board. The person will have oversight of all music related ministries including services, programs, choirs, and events.

2 hours mandatory on Sunday Morning
20 Hours Max Per Week

Salary:

$25,000-35,000 per year

All initial offers are contingent upon approval of our Leadership board after a full background check is completed and reviewed.

If selected for an interview, you are required to conduct an in-person interview with members of our leadership board and the Sr. Pastor. References will be requested prior to the interview. Will be required to demonstrate musical skills with an audition after initial interview.

Pay: $25,000.00 - $35,000.00 per year
