Their turnkey method takes away the stress of the development and management process allowing clients to focus on other areas of their business.

The Music & Movement Instructor is responsible for designing and implementing lessons that combine music, rhythm, and physical activity for children ages 6 months and up. Music & Movement Instructor should lead by example in areas such as punctuality, responsibility, motivation, and professionalism.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Planning and delivering enjoyable, structured and well-planned music and physical activities and lessons.
2. Use instruments, recorded music, and props to support learning activity.
3. Encourage participation, creativity, and physical activity in a fun and safe environment.
4. Adapt lessons to meet the diverse needs of learners, including those with special needs.
5. Monitor and assess participant and adjust instruction as needed.
6. Communicate effectively with parents, caregivers, regarding progress and participation.
7. Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming space.
8. Set-up studio and return space to neat state upon completion of class.
9. Accurately complete all administrative duties relating to Music & Movement classes (i.e. timesheets, student evaluations/placements, recital forms, etc.)
10. Attend staff meetings as required.
11. Report injuries and complete required forms.
12. Immediately notify a Supervisor of any broken equipment or unsafe aspects of studio space.
13. Demonstrate complete knowledge of emergency and safety procedures and confidence communicating with EMS.
14. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 1 year experience in teaching music, dance, movement, or related fields (early childhood experience is a plus).
Displays exceptional interpersonal skills and a high level of customer service.
Displays excellent problem solving skills and initiative.
Must possess patience, a positive attitude, and ability to work well with others.
Willing to work flexible hours.
Regular attendance and punctuality.
