Job Overview
The Music Minister plays a vital role in leading and enhancing the musical aspects of worship within the community. This position requires a passionate individual who can inspire and engage congregants through music, while fostering a spirit of worship and community. The Music Minister will collaborate with church leadership to develop a vibrant music program that aligns with the mission and vision of the church.

Duties

Lead congregational singing during worship services, ensuring an uplifting and engaging experience.
Organize and direct music rehearsals for choirs, bands, and other musical groups.
Select appropriate music for worship services, special events, and seasonal celebrations.
Collaborate with pastoral staff to integrate music into the overall worship experience.
Provide mentoring and teaching to musicians and vocalists, fostering their growth and development.
Coordinate special music events, including concerts, recitals, and community outreach performances.
Communicate effectively with team members, volunteers, and congregation regarding music initiatives.

Skills

Strong Teaching abilities to guide musicians of varying skill levels in their musical journey.
Proven Leadership skills to inspire and motivate choir members and volunteers.
Excellent Communication skills to articulate vision, provide feedback, and foster collaboration within the music ministry team.
Experience in Mentoring individuals in their musical talents while encouraging personal growth in faith through music. This role is ideal for someone who is dedicated to using their musical talents to serve the community while creating an enriching worship environment.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour

Expected hours: 18 per week
