Summary

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Elementary School Music Teacher to join our team at Ridgewood School. This role is essential in shaping young minds and fostering a love for learning in our students. Located in Springfield, Ohio, you will play a pivotal role in delivering engaging educational experiences that align with our mission.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that meet curriculum standards.
Manage classroom behavior effectively to create a positive learning environment.
Assess student progress through standardized testing and other evaluation methods.
Provide mentoring and support to students to enhance their academic growth.
Foster a love for learning by incorporating creative teaching methods.
Collaborate with parents and staff to support student development and early intervention strategies.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Education or related field required.
Valid teaching certification for elementary education preferred.
Strong classroom management skills and experience working with young children.
Knowledge of childhood development principles and tutoring techniques.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
