COMMISSION-DRIVEN SALES PROFESSIONAL

(Sponsorships | Music & Arts Support | Corporate Partnerships)

GENERAL

We are only looking for people who demand excellence from themselves and their teammates. If this is not you, please do not apply. This role is commission-driven. We are seeking seasoned, relationship-driven sales professionals with a proven track record of selling sponsorships, partnerships, or cause-related programs into corporations, foundations, and arts-support organizations.

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Lonely Entrepreneur (www.lonelyentrepreneur.com) is seeking a proven sales professional to sell sponsorships for the Music Entrepreneur Initiative (MEI)—our movement to empower 100,000 musicians and artists with the tools, training, and community of the Learning Community (LC), the first one-stop shop for entrepreneurs.

This is a unique opportunity to combine sales acumen with purpose: helping corporations, foundations, and industry stakeholders align their brands with the future of music—by ensuring artists can thrive not just creatively, but financially.

WHY THIS ROLE MATTERS

The easy part is the music. The hard part is the business.
Millions of gifted musicians, songwriters, and teams give us the soundtracks of our lives, but most have never been taught how to navigate royalties, streaming, publishing, licensing, or branding. As a result, the vast majority struggle—many earning less than $1,000 annually from their music.

You will sell sponsorships that enable companies and organizations to say:

“We’re not just celebrating music—we’re helping the artists behind it succeed in business.”

By funding access to the LC, sponsors can:

Deliver real impact for musicians by teaching them how to monetize their craft.
Align their brand with creativity, innovation, and cultural relevance.
Build credibility and loyalty with audiences who care about artist empowerment.
Be part of the movement to equip 100,000 artists with the entrepreneurial lifeline they deserve.

JOB DESCRIPTION

We’re seeking a Commission-Driven Sales Professional who can:

Drive sponsorship sales into corporations, foundations, music industry stakeholders, and arts-support organizations.
Leverage relationships within the music, entertainment, and philanthropic communities to open doors and close deals.
Position MEI sponsorships as a powerful combination of cultural impact and measurable business value.
Work independently to develop, pitch, and close sponsorships at scale.

TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE, YOU’LL NEED

A proven track record of selling sponsorships, partnerships, or cause-related programs.
Passion for music and the arts—and credibility with those who support them.
Relationships with corporations, foundations, and organizations aligned with supporting musicians and creators.
Executive presence and comfort selling to CEOs, CMOs, CSR/ESG leaders, and foundation directors.
Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to thrive in a commission-Driven, mission-driven role.

JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Identify, prospect, and pitch MEI sponsorship opportunities to corporations, foundations, and industry stakeholders.
Present the Music Entrepreneur Initiative as a turnkey way to empower artists and align with cultural leadership.
Develop proposals and close contracts that fund LC access for musicians.
Translate MEI impact into brand loyalty, CSR/ESG success, and cultural relevance.
Report sponsorship pipeline progress and collaborate with TLE leadership to refine positioning.

COMPENSATION

Commission-Driven
Aggressive commission structure based on sponsorship dollars closed
Unlimited earning potential for seasoned professionals with networks in music, arts, and philanthropic ecosystems
