This is a highly responsible administrative position that sits between the Marketing, Label Management, Digital Music Strategy and Physical supply chain teams.

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Label Management, you will be working as a point of contact for distributed labels and artists across a variety of genres.

You will act as a constant and reliable source of advice for your clients, always striving to add maximum value to their releases and campaigns.

A passion for music and the industry are a must. Your professional and confident approach will enable you to build and maintain incredibly strong relationships with labels and artist management, as well as key external partners, agencies, and suppliers.

What you'll do:

Liaise with internal departments, from operations, product, sales and marketing to finance, legal and management to ensure all clients' business needs are satisfied.
Be the first point of contact and maintain day-to-day relationships with the label management team, sales department, and warehouse partners for The Orchard's physical inventory and supply chain in Australia and New Zealand.
Oversee scheduling of physical and digital releases, ensuring deadlines are met and all represented sales and marketing needs are managed in Australia, New Zealand, and abroad.
Manage digital and physical product logistics, ensuring all deadlines are met.
Proof digital metadata using Orchard technology systems to ensure all releases are delivered to required specifications and in a timely manner.
Supply sales departments with all materials necessary for selling releases into retail with maximum impact.

Who you are:

Two (2) years' experience in a similar position and industry is preferred, but not a necessity.
Organized, detail-oriented and thorough, with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects at once.
Highly advanced organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise to tight deadlines.
Have strong knowledge and use of Microsoft Excel & Google Workspace Applications.
Must be prepared to learn and show an understanding of physical distribution, digital metadata requirements, and the local retail landscape.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to speak effectively across all levels of business and the capacity to identify key relationships and develop them accordingly.
A willingness to approach new areas of business, with a positive and considered attitude.
Develop awareness of changes and developments in the industry.
Passionate about artists and their music, with opportunity to attend industry events, shows & conferences representing The Orchard.
Flexibility to work evenings and weekends when needed and be able to travel interstate as required.
