Position Overview:
NO DJ EXPERIENCE REQUIRED. We are looking for an enthusiastic and personable DJ to join the Lovely Night Entertainment team. As a professional wedding/event DJ, you will be responsible for delivering outstanding musical experiences, tailored to each client’s unique preferences. From the ceremony to the last dance, you will set the tone for their special day with your expertise in mixing, time management, and crowd engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
● Perform at weddings, receptions, and other private events, curating music that aligns with clients’ tastes and event themes.
● Communicate with event planners, vendors, and clients to coordinate event schedules and transitions.
● Collaborate with clients to create custom playlists and ensure their musical vision is executed flawlessly.
● Set up, operate, and maintain audio and lighting equipment, ensuring top-quality sound throughout the event.
● Engage with guests, read the crowd, and keep the energy high with live mixing and music selection.
● Deliver a professional and positive experience, ensuring that every guest enjoys the event.
● Be flexible with and adapt to last-minute changes and client requests during events.
Qualifications:
● No experience as a DJ needed but welcomed, especially at weddings or other events.
● General understanding of music genres; willingness to learn and keep up with music trends.
● Comfortable with running technology. Flexible with learning new software and equipment.
● Ability to problem solve and adapt to challenges in the moment.
● Excellent communication skills and the talent to read a room and customer cues and body language while engaging and energizing guests.
● Strong customer service skills with a focus on ensuring client satisfaction.
● Professional appearance and demeanor.
● Availability to work evenings and weekends.
