We are a very active and passionate lesson center dedicated to providing quality, one on one music lessons to students of all ages and levels. Bachelor's degree in music preferred and some teaching experience required.
**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong music background and ablilty to customize music lessons for each student.
**Responsibilities:**
- Commit to weekly, private lessons for 6-10 students
- Provide instruction in including technique, music theory, reading, aural skills and improvisation.
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment for students
- Customize curriculum unique to each student based on interest and learning style
- Maintain excellent rapport and communication with both students and parents
**Experience:**
- Previous experience teaching or working with students in music instruction
- Proficiency in sight reading, music theory, technique fundamentals, performance practices, basic piano methods, and aural skills.
- Strong lesson planning skills to create dynamic and interactive learning experiences
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
