Full job description
The White River Valley Supervisory Union is looking for a positive and enthusiastic music educator to join our vibrant performing arts team. Primary responsibilities include teaching general music to K-8th grade students, elementary band, and instrumental lessons. We expect this teacher to develop music appreciation, creating school-wide music events and possibly directing our annual school play for the community (Newton School). In addition, our music teacher will be actively involved in our school-wide system, supporting elective classes and working as part of a cohesive team.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Salary and work year are in accordance with the current CBA and salary schedule.
Successful Candidates Should Have:
- A strong passion for music and community collaboration
- A current Vermont Teacher certification in Music Education or be eligible for a provisional license
- Experience working with elementary and middle school students
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively
