Position Summary: Washburn University's Music department invites applications for Adjunct (Applied Clarinet). The position will begin academic year 2025-2026.

Essential Functions:
- Teach Applied Clarinet
- Perform in Faculty WW Quintet
- Perform in Washburn University Faculty Trio
- Teach music courses assigned to fit successful applicant's qualifications.
- Recruit students and maintain public profile as a performer and teacher.
- Perform additional job-related duties as assigned or as appropriate.
Required Qualifications:
Doctorate in Music, ABD and Master's degrees applicants will be considered.
- Earned Master's degree in Clarinet performance.
- Successful record of Collegiate level teaching, and performance.
- Successful recruiting and retaining of undergraduate music students.
- Demonstrated dedication to developing inclusive teaching practices that engage all learners.
- Official educational transcripts will be required at time of hire.
