The Louisiana Academy of Performing Arts is seeking talented, motivated, and qualified music teachers with a passion for performing arts education. LAAPA offers flexible schedules, performance opportunities, and a stimulating work environment.
Now hiring for Fall 2025 teaching opportunities at our three campuses in the Greater New Orleans area. We are seeking substitute and regular faculty members.
We are currently interviewing candidates for opportunities in our Piano and Voice Departments.
Compensation based on education and experience.
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Music Degree or Equivalent Professional Experience. Rising juniors and seniors in a college performing arts program are encouraged to apply!
- Ability to conduct weekly private and group lessons and arrange lesson plans
- Outgoing personality
- Ability to make each lesson fun and enjoyable for students of all ages
- Ability to teach in two or more programs is a plus!
