LIU is hiring talented and passionate instructors to join the Roc Nation Summer Academy, beginning July 8. The Summer Academy encompasses three week-long camps for students ages 14-17. The Academy offers concentrations in Music Technology, Vocal Performance, and Sports Management. Roc Nation Summer Academy instructors will report to the Dean of the Roc Nation School.
The School is seeking applications for the following disciplines and corresponding dates:
July 14-18: Music Technology; Vocal Performance
July 21-25: Music Technology; Vocal Performance Key Responsibilities:
- Design and teach lesson plans for students that include participation, support, and guidance
- Promote and actively participate in all student activities and projects while working effectively with counselors and collaborating on daily responsibilities
- Supervise students with attention to behavior and group management while serving as a positive role model to students and peers
- Inform site director of any concerns regarding the health, safety, and security of the students
