Position Summary:
Expected to begin Fall 2026, this tenure-track position will have a strong focus in our Music Technology Program as we construct a brand-new state-of-the-art recording studio to expand the production courses in our Music Arts Management degree program. The Music Arts Management degree has been enrolling students since 2020, and we seek a colleague to help us grow it into a vibrant program which will prepare our students for success in the music industry. We seek an experienced professional with a demonstrated record of excellence in teaching and curriculum design. The successful applicant will also possess superior interpersonal skills, be an expert communicator, and a role model for students. The successful candidate may be asked to teach courses in a distance learning format. The Music Department is a small but highly visible and active department who strive to create a supportive artistic environment. This position will play a crucial role by ensuring development of curriculum and coursework to create musicians for the future! We are part of the School of Arts & Sciences which provides excellence in learning opportunities for all students at SUNY Plattsburgh through a core liberal arts education.
