Gateway Church in Winter Park, FL is seeking a passionate and dedicated Part-Time Director of Music Ministries to lead our Sunday morning worship services with our praise team. Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, rehearse, and lead the praise team for Sunday morning worship services.
- Select and arrange music that aligns with the church’s worship style and theological values.
- Collaborate with pastoral staff to ensure worship services are cohesive and spiritually enriching.
- Recruit, train, and mentor praise team members to foster musical and spiritual growth.
- Oversee and manage technical support for our services in cooperation with pastor and other team members.
- Plan, oversee. and conduct as needed additional ministry opportunities related to music and the performing arts.
Qualifications:
- Strong vocal musical proficiency and experience leading a praise team.
- Deep commitment to Christian faith and worship.
- Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with church staff and volunteers.
- Previous experience in music ministry or worship leadership preferred.
Schedule:
- Part-time, generally includes five hours per week on site, including Sunday services and rehearsal time.
- Additional hours may be required for special services or events (e.g., Christmas, Easter, Weddings, Funerals etc.).
