We are seeking passionate Music Teachers to join our team who are interested in working with students with special needs. Piano, guitar, strings (violin, viola, cello), brass / woodwinds (e.g., flute, clarinet, saxophone, trumpet, etc.), vocal / singing, and early childhood music. As a Music Teacher, you will play a vital role in shaping the musical abilities of our students. You will be responsible for developing and implementing engaging music lessons, promoting the appreciation of music, and fostering a love for the arts among our students.
**Responsibilities:**
- Develop and teach music lessons to students of all ages and skill levels, including group and one-on-one instruction, and especially students with special needs
- Create and implement lesson plans and curriculum for music lessons
- Provide individualized support to students with special needs or requirements
- Use a variety of teaching methods to engage students and promote active learning
- Encourage students to express their creativity through music
- Manage student behavior and create a positive learning environment
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $21.00 - $28.00 per hour
Expected hours: 2 – 20 per week
