Job Summary
The Music Director plays a pivotal role in shaping the musical vision and direction of our organization. This position requires a passionate individual with a strong background in music education and performance, who can lead, inspire, and mentor musicians of all skill levels. The Music Director will be responsible for developing and implementing music programs, conducting rehearsals, and fostering a collaborative environment that encourages creativity and growth.
Responsibilities
- Develop and oversee the music curriculum, ensuring it aligns with educational standards and the organization's mission.
- Conduct rehearsals for various ensembles, providing guidance on musical interpretation and performance techniques.
- Collaborate with other staff members to plan performances, including concerts, recitals, and community events.
- Mentor students and musicians, offering constructive feedback to enhance their skills and confidence.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff regarding program updates and individual progress.
- Organize auditions for new members and assess their suitability for various ensembles.
- Stay current with music trends and incorporate innovative teaching methods into the program.

Pay: From $130.00 per hour
