Immediate openings for Caregivers, CNAs, and HHAs at Right at Home. Join a company dedicated to making a difference by serving a vulnerable population of seniors and adults with disabilities. As a Right at Home CNA or Personal Care Assistant, you’ll receive the proper personal protective equipment (PPE) and the support you need to improve the quality of life of those you care for. With over 25 years of experience in home care, you’ll be part of a fast-growing, compassionate team.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with transferring/moving clients throughout their home.
- Perform housekeeping tasks including vacuuming, dusting, sweeping, mopping floors, doing dishes, changing bed linens, doing laundry, and cleaning bathrooms.
- Prepare meals and snacks according to instructions.
- Accompany clients on errands or medical appointments.
- Provide personal care including bathing, showering, dressing, and shaving.
- Offer medication reminders.
- Assist with prescribed range of motion exercises.
- Deliver specialized dementia care.
- Engage in companionship activities such as reading, music, and puzzles.
Required Qualifications
- Must have one year of verifiable experience under nurse supervision or completion of a certified training course (e.g., HHA, CNA, STNA, etc.).
- High school graduate or G.E.D. certificate.
- Ability to lift/move 50 lbs without assistance.
- Proficient in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English.
- Possess a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and the ability to travel up to 30 minutes to shifts.
- Capable of passing a background check and drug screen.
- Demonstrated compassion for helping others.
