POSITION SUMMARY
The Music and Programming Coordinator serves in a central support role on the Worship Team at Sun Valley Community Church (SVCC), working to enhance music ministry and instrumentalist development across all campuses. This position helps ensure alignment, consistency, and excellence in musicality while also filling in a band role at campuses when needed. In all actions, reflects the SVCC team leadership distinctives.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Coordinate music resources and systems by maintaining charts, arrangements, stems, tracks, and reference materials, ensuring all content is accurate and aligned across campuses.

Support band preparation and rehearsals by distributing resources, confirming arrangements, and helping Music Directors get what they need in advance each week.

Assist with Planning Center and scheduling by supporting Music Directors with band scheduling, service templates, and maintaining up-to-date music plans.

Support musician onboarding and development through coordinating auditions, onboarding steps, and maintaining training materials and reference guides.

Provide on-site musical support when needed by serving in a band role or assisting at special events, worship nights, or recordings.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or equivalent, and other training/certifications that have equipped them for the duties of the role.
Two years of experience in production, including thorough knowledge of use of computers, automated lighting, sound, and video, including ProPresenter, Ableton Live, and digital audio consoles.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
Demonstrates spiritual maturity and character consistent with the Biblical requirements for church leadership.
Effective relational communication skills, both verbal and written
Self-motivated, self-directed requiring minimal supervision.
Ability to implement and drive projects and strategies through to completion.
Creativity and problem-solving skills
Teamwork orientation with ability to train and motivate others.
Agrees and aligns with the mission, vision, leadership distinctives, and doctrinal statement of SVCC.
