SCHEDULE
- Sundays 9:00 AM - 10:00 AM
- One service and one choir rehearsal per week
Pay Rate:
$100 per service and $100 per rehearsal
QUALIFICATIONS
- Shall be familiar with OPNAVINST 1730.1E (Religious Ministries in the Navy), and Army Regulation 165-1 (Religious Support Army Chaplain Corps Activities).
- Shall have a clear understanding of Navy organization and the pluralistic ministry requirements that affect the use of chapel facilities and staff.
- Shall possess instrumental and vocal music skills in both direction and performance
- Shall possess at least two (2) years of experience with Roman Catholic ministries, conducted in a military setting
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide a Lessons Learned Report within 45 days
- Plan and provide music up to a maximum of two (2) services for funerals, memorials services, and special events, in coordination with the Installation Chaplain (not to exceed 2 services).
- Perform one (1) weekly service and choir rehearsals
- Perform eight (8) special event services
