Our firm is looking for an experienced Sound Engineer to join our staff. The ideal candidate for this position has extensive experience working in live venues, a background in music production and a strong technical knowledge, including a familiarity with sound boards, microphones and various types of instrumentation. A successful candidate will also have an excellent sense of direction and the ability to multitask while listening to multiple cues at once.
Responsibilities:
- Communicate effectively with fellow engineers.
- Ensure that the final mix accurately represents the artist's original intent and the director's vision.
- Create a comfortable environment for artists and balance with equal levels of sound in all speakers.
- Evaluate and design new systems or processes to improve workflow, efficiency, or effectiveness.
- Take responsibility for recording, mixing and producing music.
- Mix audio tracks to balance levels, fix timing or remove blemishes.
- Incorporate sound effects into existing audio tracks.

Pay: $24.48 - $28.47 per hour
