K.BITXXH LLC™ is a full-service independent music company built for independent artists from underrepresented communities. We handle everything from music production and distribution to artist management and business development — all under one roof. Audio is at the heart of everything we do, and we need someone who takes it seriously.
THE ROLE
We are looking for an Audio Engineer who can also produce. This is a dual role — you need to be able to sit behind the board and mix a track to radio-ready quality, AND lay down original production when an artist needs it. If you live in the studio, understand what independent artists need sonically, and can deliver professional results at an accessible pace — this is your seat.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Mix and master tracks for artists across multiple genres — primarily Hip-Hop, R&B, Afrobeats, and Pop
- Produce original beats and full arrangements for artists who need original music
- Record artists in studio sessions — mic placement, signal chain, performance direction
- Ensure all deliverables meet platform loudness standards for Spotify, Apple Music, Tidal, and more
- Collaborate with the Creative Director to align audio and visual direction on projects
- Manage session files, track libraries, and project organization
- Provide artist feedback and coaching during recording sessions
- Stay current on sonic trends in the genres we work in

- DAW: Expert in Pro Tools, Logic Pro X, or Ableton Live

- Mixing: Professional mixing skills with a strong ear for balance, space, and dynamics
- Mastering: Able to deliver masters hitting platform LUFS standards (-14 Spotify, -16 Apple Music)
- Production: Can produce original beats across Hip-Hop, R&B, Afrobeats, and Pop
- Plugins: Familiar with industry-standard plugins — Waves, iZotope, FabFilter, etc.
- Communication: Can give artists honest, constructive feedback in a way that keeps sessions moving
- Bonus: Experience with vocal tuning (Melodyne/Auto-Tune) and sound design is a plus
