About the Role: Provide music therapy services to students with disabilities in K-12 school settings. You'll conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and deliver direct music therapy to support students' communication, social-emotional, cognitive, and motor goals. This role collaborates closely with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to integrate music therapy into each student's IEP and maximize outcomes.

What You'll Do:
- Conduct formalized and functional assessments to determine eligibility and baseline functioning
- Develop and implement individualized music therapy treatment plans aligned with IEP goals
- Provide direct music therapy services targeting communication, social-emotional, behavioral, cognitive, and/or motor skills
- Complete and maintain compliant IEPs; participate in annual and triennial reviews
- Collaborate with teachers, related service providers, and families to support skill generalization across settings
- Maintain accurate session notes, assessment data, and progress documentation
- Participate in ARD/IEP meetings and contribute clinical recommendations
What We're Looking For:
Must Have:
- Board Certification in Music Therapy (MT-BC) from the Certification Board for Music Therapists (CBMT)
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Music Therapy from an AMTA-approved program, or equivalent coursework
- DOJ/FBI Live Scan background clearance
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication
Preferred:
- One or more years of experience providing music therapy in a school or pediatric setting
- Familiarity with special education law, IEP processes, and ARD meetings
- Knowledge of evidence-based music therapy practices for diverse populations
- Experience working with students with autism, communication disorders, or other developmental disabilities
