Thrive Creative Arts lessons and classes are primarily for ages 4-17. Unlike most traditional music education programs, Thrive focuses on building musicians who are skilled on and off their instruments. Students play Big Music Games that have them moving around the room, training their ears and their voices. Students learn music theory and songwriting from a young age, so they can not only play music but also understand what they’re playing. Students in both private lessons and group classes have regular opportunities to collaborate and play music in bands.
- Our students write songs and play gigs together.
- We measure success by how many songs students collaborate on together.
- Game-based learning keeps our lessons fun and effective. Our lessons and classes feel nothing like a traditional lesson.
- We follow a unique lesson architecture that challenges every student to use their ears before their eyes to solve the puzzles of music.
Thrive teachers have regular meetings to develop their skills, share success and challenges, and support each other.
