Job Overview
We are seeking a Multi-Instrumentalist Music Instructor to lead engaging private and group lessons. The ideal candidate can teach to students of all ages and skill levels, with a strong commitment to making music education both fun and effective. Multi-Instrumentalists strongly encouraged!
Competitive pay, flex hours, part-time! The ideal candidate will have a background in music education and previous experience in teaching music. This role involves teaching from an established curriculum (you don't need to plan the lessons, we do it for you!) and fostering a positive learning environment!
Responsibilities
- Teach private, semi-private lessons and group using our curriculum and cover song arrangements
- The roll can include providing band coaching to small rock / pop ensembles for the purposes of live performance and recordings
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their growth
Qualifications
- Must demonstrate an understanding of music concepts, theory, techniques relevant to their instrument(s) and be able to communicate those concepts effectively to students
- Be able to teach from music lesson books
- Previous music teaching experience
- Ability to pass a background check
