Responsibilities
- Develop and implement creative, age-appropriate music curricula tailored to early childhood development stages
- Lead lively, interactive music classes that incorporate singing, dancing, rhythm exercises, and musical storytelling
- Manage classroom environments to ensure safety, engagement, and positive behavior among young children
- Incorporate diverse artistic activities such as theater, ballet, or movement to enhance musical learning experiences
- Collaborate with parents and caregivers to share progress updates and suggest ways to reinforce musical skills at home
- Utilize photography skills to document class activities and children's progress for portfolios or promotional purposes
- Support children with special educational needs by adapting lessons and employing behavior management techniques
Skills
- Strong background in early childhood education with experience in preschool settings or classroom management
- Proficiency in curriculum development, lesson planning, and instructional strategies for young learners
- Expertise in teaching music, dance (including ballet), theater arts, or related creative disciplines
- Ability to foster a nurturing environment through effective behavior management and childcare skills
- Experience working with children with diverse needs, including special education or childhood development programs
- Knowledge of classroom experience best practices combined with patience and adaptability
