Job Summary
We are seeking passionate and creative Art and/or Music Instructors to join our educational team. The ideal candidates will inspire children and adolescents through engaging classes, fostering creativity, self-expression, and the development of technical skills within their area of specialization.
This role operates in an environment focused on artistic growth and holistic learning, promoting both creative exploration and technical discipline. Prior university experience is preferred to enhance instructional quality and curriculum development.
Responsibilities
- Visual Arts (drawing, painting, color theory, crafts), or
- Music (rhythm, singing, basic music fundamentals, percussion, or related areas)
- Foster a positive, safe, and inclusive learning environment
- Prepare and manage all materials, resources, and/or instruments required for each session
- Teach techniques step-by-step, adapted to students’ age and skill level
- Provide constructive feedback to support skill development
- Monitor and document student participation, progress, and attendance
- Collaborate with staff to enhance lesson plans and ensure program consistency
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace at all times.
Educational Degrees (Preferred):
- Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA)
- Bachelor’s degree in Music or Music Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Visual Arts, Art Education, or a related field
- University-level studies in Art, Music, or related disciplines
Qualifications
- Specialization in Art or Music (not both simultaneously)
- Ability to teach within your discipline (no advanced digital production)
- Experience working with children and adolescents
- Level 2 Background Check (FDLE/FBI) and CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Previous teaching or educational experience
- Solid knowledge of techniques, principles, and methodologies within your field
- Ability to motivate, inspire, and engage students
- Creative and adaptable mindset
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team
Pay: $50.00 per hour
