Bold Music is looking to hire a part time Music Instructor. This position is a great fit for experienced musicians who love to play and are looking for extra income. Set your own schedule and take on students whenever and wherever you want. Bold takes care of all the difficult and time consuming elements of advertising and enrolling students, so all you have to do is agree to a student opportunity that you are offered and you’re off teaching!

The majority of our students are ages 6-13, have lessons after school, and take piano, guitar, voice (or a combination) lessons. But experience teaching any instrument or any age range is welcome! Lessons are held at the same time each week based on a time you have to offer. We don’t have a set curriculum but expect you to find a common ground between what you excel at and what is best for the student and their family. Professionalism and prompt responses are expected when having conversations with students' families and responding to the management team. Communication and friendliness are also encouraged - we’re excited to be the best part of your working week!
Requirements
- Ability to drive to a students house for lessons (around 30 mins)
- Previous teaching experience is welcome (not required)
- Music degree welcome (not required)
- Ability to communicate quickly with management team
- Must be able to communicate effectively with students, manage calendar effectively, and complete attendance responsibilities in a timely manner.
- Must pass a background check, reference check and detailed music knowledge assessment.
