About Whole Vibes Music Therapy & Lessons
Whole Vibes is a growing, mission-driven music therapy and creative arts practice serving children, teens, adults, and older adults across the Treasure Coast. We are passionate about empowering individuals of all abilities through meaningful music experiences that promote connection, growth, and independence.
We work in schools, private homes, community programs, assisted living facilities, and clinical settings — supporting individuals with autism, intellectual and developmental disabilities, mental health needs, and aging-related diagnoses.
We are expanding and looking for a compassionate, professional, and motivated Board-Certified Music Therapist (MT-BC) to join our team.
Position Overview
This is a full-time contract position providing music therapy services throughout:
- Martin County
- St. Lucie County
- Okeechobee County
You will work with a diverse population including:
- Individuals with special needs (Autism, IDD, developmental delays)
- Older adults (including dementia/Alzheimer’s)
- Mental health populations
- School-based students (individual & small group sessions)
Responsibilities
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
- Provide individual and group music therapy sessions
- Document sessions and progress notes in a timely manner
- Collaborate with families, teachers, therapists, and care teams
- Support performance opportunities and community engagement when applicable
- Maintain professional and ethical standards per CBMT guidelines
Qualifications
✅ Board-Certified Music Therapist (MT-BC) — Required
✅ Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Music Therapy
✅ Experience working with special needs populations preferred
✅ Experience with older adults and/or mental health populations preferred
✅ Reliable transportation and willingness to travel within service counties
✅ Strong communication and organizational skills
✅ Ability to work independently as a contract clinician
