Healing Rhythms Music Therapy, LLC is hiring a part-time music therapist (MT-BC) to serve the New Ulm, MN community. This employee position will be part-time (averaging 20-24 hours per week) with opportunity to grow to full-time if desired. The caseload will be eclectic and will include but not be limited to: hospice, older adult groups, neurodiverse children and adults.
The ideal candidate is ready to be an advocate and educate in the community about how we empower lives through music, and embrace a diverse caseload while providing high-quality services and traveling around New Ulm and neighboring communities (Brown, Watonwan, Nicollet, Blue Earth counties). This position is for you if you are: passionate about music therapy with hospice and neurodiverse individuals, a self-starter, highly motivated, excel in time management, handle change and flexibility with ease, able to work independently, excel in a fast-paced environment, have strong vocal and guitar skills and repertoire, can leverage technology in clinical practice, have excellent written and oral communication skills, comfortable with networking and public speaking, and are a team player. This therapist must operate with honesty and integrity and represent the Healing Rhythms brand and values the team upholds.
The candidate must have a reliable vehicle and should be able to consistently meet the needs of a diverse patient population, and their families, while clearly articulating the clinical importance and purpose of services provided. This position will support individuals on hospice and those with neurodiverse needs and include community partnerships in and around the New Ulm community with an opportunity to grow
Compensation is competitive and based on experience.
