Job Title: Campus Worship Leader (Part-Time)
Location: Southwest Campus – Bethlehem Lutheran Church
Schedule: Sundays + Weekly Rehearsal/Planning (Approx. 10 hours/week)
Position Overview
Bethlehem Lutheran Church is seeking a passionate and skilled Campus Worship Leader to lead the musical portion of our weekly worship services at our Southwest Campus. This individual will partner closely with the Campus Pastor and Worship Arts Director to create a worship experience that is spiritually meaningful, musically excellent, and aligned with the church’s vision.
Key Responsibilities
Worship Leadership
- Lead congregational worship through vocal and instrumental excellence
- Collaborate with the Campus Pastor to support the vision and flow of each service
Preparation & Rehearsal
- Prepare all music for weekly Sunday services
- Lead efficient, engaging rehearsals with the campus band
- Ensure a high level of consistency and quality in worship execution
Team Coordination
- Coordinate with the Worship Arts Director to schedule musicians and support staff
- Communicate clearly with team members regarding music, expectations, and rehearsal plans
- Assist with the care and maintenance of worship equipment
Service Commitment
- Sundays: 8:00 AM – 11:00 AM
- Additional weekly time for rehearsal, preparation, and communication (total ~5–7 hours/week)
Qualifications
Required
- Strong vocal ability with experience leading worship
- Proficiency in at least one instrument (guitar or keys preferred)
- Excellent musical leadership and rehearsal skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with staff and volunteers
- Familiarity with ProPresenter (or ability to learn quickly)
- Basic knowledge of audio systems and setup
Preferred
- Multi-instrumentalist
- Prior experience leading worship in a church setting
- Experience working with volunteer musicians
Faith Requirements
- Actively profess and live out the Christian faith
- Demonstrate an understanding of how faith shapes worship leadership
- Engage in and support the spiritual life of Bethlehem Lutheran Church

- Maintain punctuality and professionalism for all services and rehearsals
- Arrive fully prepared for all responsibilities
- Assist with slides and support AV volunteers during services

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
