Assess patients’ emotional, cognitive, and physical needs using standardized music therapy and clinical tools.
Plan and deliver individual and group music therapy sessions aligned with interdisciplinary care plans.
Document assessments, treatment goals, interventions, and patient responses in the medical record.
Collaborate with nurses, physicians, rehab therapists, and social workers to optimize patient outcomes.
Adapt interventions for diverse populations across hospitals, elderly care, and home health settings.
Educate patients, families, and staff about the benefits and goals of music therapy.
Monitor and evaluate outcomes, adjusting treatment plans based on patient progress and feedback.
Maintain safe use and care of musical instruments and equipment in clinical environments.
