St. Andrew’s Church is seeking a Minister of Music to lead and grow a vibrant, Christ-centered music ministry that engages all ages and supports meaningful worship.
About Our Worship
At St. Andrew’s, worship includes a blend of:
Traditional hymns and choral music
Contemporary worship elements
Opportunities for both choir and instrumental leadership We value participation, spiritual depth, and developing the musical gifts of our congregation.
Responsibilities
Plan and lead music for weekly worship services
Direct choir and coordinate rehearsals
Lead congregational singing
Collaborate with pastoral leadership on worship services
Incorporate both traditional and contemporary music
Recruit and mentor musicians and volunteers
Support growth of the music ministry, including future opportunities
Qualifications
Demonstrated ability to lead music in a worship setting
Strong vocal and/or instrumental skills
Ability to direct or organize a choir or group
Familiarity with traditional and/or contemporary church music
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
Note:
No specific degree required
Experience and calling to ministry are prioritized
Compensation
Based on experience and education (flexible scale)
