The Louisiana Academy of Performing Arts is currently accepting applications for music teachers at our Northshore campuses in Mandeville and Covington for Summer and Fall 2026.
As our academy continues to grow, we are seeking additional talented, passionate, and down to earth music educators who are eager to share their craft with our community.
We are currently interviewing candidates for opportunities in our Piano, Voice, Violin, Guitar, and Early Childhood Music Departments.
Compensation:
Based on experience/degree and is competitive with other private music schools.
Requirements:
- University training in music (or equivalent professional experience). In-progress or completed Bachelor's degree in Arts or Music preferred.
- Ability to teach weekly private lessons at beginning-late intermediate levels in your primary instrument.
- Outgoing personality with the ability to make each lesson enjoyable and progressive for students of all ages.
