Marshfield Clinic – Marshfield Children’s seeks a compassionate Music Therapist to provide evidence-based music therapy for pediatric patients in inpatient and outpatient settings. Conduct individualized music therapy assessments for pediatric inpatients and outpatients
Develop and implement evidence-based music therapy treatment plans and goals
Use music interventions to support pain management, anxiety reduction, and emotional coping
Facilitate individual and group music therapy sessions tailored to age and developmental level
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, Child Life, rehab, and behavioral health teams
Document assessments, goals, interventions, and patient progress in the medical record
Educate patients, families, and staff on the benefits and use of music therapy
Participate in multidisciplinary rounds and care conferences
Contribute to program development, quality improvement, and outcomes tracking
Supervise students or interns as appropriate and engage in ongoing professional development

Board Certified Music Therapist (MT-BC) required or eligible within specified timeframe
Bachelor’s degree in Music Therapy from an AMTA-approved program required; Master’s preferred
Current CPR/BLS certification or ability to obtain
Eligible for Wisconsin credentialing or licensure if applicable
Experience with pediatric and medical music therapy practica or internship
Fluency with EMR systems and hospital clinical documentation standards
