Overview
Position Description:
The Greater Miracle Temple Holiness Church is located in Tallahassee, FL. The church is seeking a drummer to join the music ministry. The ideal candidate will be able to play by ear, and demonstrate a desire to use one's musical gifts to minister to others and lead the congregation in worship.
Schedule: Primarily Sunday Worship/Flexible Hours
Wages: Negotiable
Position Functions:
- Facilitate praise and worship in Sunday services.
- Participate in planning and collaborative discussions with church leadership to implement the music ministry.
- Participate in rehearsals as needed.
- Perform in special events such as anniversary services.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Previous experience playing drums for worship in a church congregation.
- Familiarity with gospel songs and traditional hymns.
- Willingness to learn new material.
- Highly self-motivated and directed
