Position Overview
Woodland Fine Arts Academy is looking for dedicated music teachers to join our team! We’re looking for someone who loves to inspire the next generation of artists through private lessons and a shared love for music. Instructors are responsible for delivering exceptional instruction to a diverse range of ages and skill levels.
What You’ll Do
- Provide high-quality, personalized lessons that help your students thrive.
- Integrate prayer and devotionals into weekly lessons.
- Prepare students for our WFA performances, including our annual recital.
- Become a part of our community by collaborating with families and fellow faculty.
- Support the theatre department by preparing voice students for performance requirements in WFA theatre production.
Who You Are
- Education: A degree in Music (Performance or Education), Musical Theatre, Worship Studies, or Pedagogy is preferred. We also value equivalent professional experience.
- Experience: You have a heart for teaching with the experience and know how to keep young musicians motivated and engaged.
- Versatility: You’re comfortable teaching a variety of genres, including Christian music (contemporary and/or traditional)
- Alignment: You’re excited to support the Christian values and mission that make WFA special.
Timeline & Commitment
- Hiring for: 2026–2027 Season
- Onboarding & Training: Summer 2026
- Classes Begin: August 2026
- Part-time, weekly classes (afternoons/evenings)

Pay: $35 - $45 per instructional hour, depending on experience and educational background.
