Piano Player or Lead Guitarist/Assistant Worship Leader – Big Rapids, Michigan
We are a Christ-centered, community-focused church in Big Rapids, Michigan, seeking a Spirit-led, musically gifted person to play piano or lead guitar and assist our worship ministry.
About the Role:
- Position: Piano Player or lead guitarist
- Location: Big Rapids, Michigan
- Type: 1099 Contracted Part-Time Position
Responsibilities:
- Play piano or play lead guitar, assist with coordinating worship services that inspire and engage the congregation.
- Assist in developing and mentoring the worship team, fostering musical and spiritual growth.
- Attend rehearsals and help Worship Leader select appropriate worship songs.
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in leading worship instrumentally.
- Experience in playing piano or lead guitar in congregational worship with a worship team.
- Ability to work collaboratively with church leadership and volunteers.
Preferred Attributes:
- Experience in ministry settings.
- Familiarity with contemporary Christian worship music, with a few older ones sprinkled in.
