Overview
Harmony Home’s mission is to provide exceptional in-home music lessons while demonstrating the love of Christ through our daily interactions with our students and their families.
You MUST have a reliable mode of transportation, pass a background check, and be willing to drive up to 30 minutes. We try and keep travel to a minimum for our teachers by pairing them with students that are close to them. Expect to drive 20 minutes to a student.
This specific job posting is for a position in the Spring Hill TN area.
Responsibilities
- Communicate in a timely way with both admin and students.
- Arrive on time for lessons.
- Attend recitals if your students are participating. We host recitals twice a year at the end of each semester. It is our expectation that you will be there if your student is participating.
- Be sure to log your lessons accurately as to not overcharge a student. We will clearly explain how to do this in our hiring process.
- As a contractor, you have total control of your schedule and complete control over how many students you'd like to work with. We ask that you be open to a minimum of 10 students. Our students get attached to their instructors, we are looking for someone that is in it for the long haul!
- You are also responsible for planning lessons and using whatever curriculum you'd like.
- We will provide you with resources that will help make your lessons fun and engaging.
Qualifications
- Being great with kids is a must!
- Must be responsible and a good communicator.
- If you have a bachelors in music or are earning one that is a plus.
- Being a multi instrumentalist is also a plus.

Experience:
- Violin Teaching/Performance: 1 year (Preferred)
