About SPICE
SPICE is our one-of-a-kind, one-to-one recreation therapy program for cognitively impaired adults. Our therapists bring joy, stimulation, and connection through personalized activities — whether clients live at home, in assisted living, or skilled nursing facilities.
Each session is individualized and relationship-based, designed to meet people where they are and help them engage with life in meaningful ways.
The Role
You'll visit clients one-to-one in their homes or facilities for weekly sessions. You'll assess their interests and abilities, design activities that spark engagement, and build genuine relationships over time. After each session, you'll update families with uplifting, informative notes about what you did and how their loved one responded.
About You
You're upbeat, creative, and energized by helping people discover (or rediscover) what brings them joy. You're comfortable working independently, thinking on your feet, and adapting activities to each person's abilities. You genuinely enjoy spending time with older adults and people with disabilities, and you see their potential, not just their limitations.
