Job Overview
We are seeking passionate and dynamic Music Instructors specializing in Piano, Voice, and Violin to inspire and cultivate musical talent across diverse age groups from beginner through advanced levels. Responsibilities
- Develop customized lesson plans tailored to each student’s skill level, goals, and learning style
- Deliver engaging instruction (private and group lessons) in piano, voice, or violin that balances technical mastery with expressive performance
- Manage class dynamics effectively to ensure a respectful and motivating environment
- Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to encourage continuous improvement
- Incorporate diverse teaching methods including curriculum development, musical theory, and practical exercises
- Organize recitals or performances to showcase student achievements and boost confidence
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, progress notes, and lesson plans in accordance with program standards
Qualifications
- Minimum of a B.M. or B.M.E.; Master's degree preferred
- Strong background in music education with expertise in piano, voice, or violin performance
- Suzuki training, or willingness to obtain, a plus
- Experience in curriculum development and lesson planning tailored to various age groups and skill levels
- Excellent class management skills to foster a positive learning atmosphere
- Proven ability to work effectively with children, teens, and adult learners across different settings
- Ability to communicate well with students and their parents
- Ability to work collaboratively with other Knight Music Academy faculty
