Responsibilities
- Edit music videos by assembling footage, applying color correction, and enhancing visual elements to produce polished final products
- Incorporate motion graphics, visual effects, and typography to enhance storytelling and engagement
- Manage audio synchronization, sound editing, and audio processing to ensure high-quality sound design
- Utilize editing software such as Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, Adobe After Effects, and Avid for seamless post-production workflows
- Collaborate with directors and content creators to understand artistic vision and deliver on project objectives
- Conduct color grading and lighting adjustments to achieve desired aesthetic effects
- Organize media assets efficiently using tools like Adobe Bridge and Adobe Lightroom for photo editing and manipulation
- Maintain project files using content management systems and FTP protocols for secure storage and easy access
- Stay updated on current trends in video storytelling, motion graphics, 3D animation (Maya), and 2D animation techniques to enhance creative output
Experience
- Proven experience in video editing, preferably within the music or entertainment industry
- Strong proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite including Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign; familiarity with Final Cut Pro and Avid is a plus
- Demonstrated skills in color correction editing, visual storytelling, motion graphics, and post-production processes
- Technical proficiency in audio and video processing techniques for high-quality output
- Experience with photography, videography, lighting for video production, and content creation workflows
- Knowledge of 3D animation (Maya), Cinema 4D, or other animation tools is advantageous
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills with a keen eye for detail and a passion for storytelling through visuals
