As a Music Instructor for Musical Beginnings, you will be instrumental in fostering a love for music among students of all ages. Reporting to the Director, you will utilize your core teaching skills to deliver engaging lessons while developing a comprehensive curriculum that meets diverse learning needs. Your expertise in classroom management and experience with children will create a positive learning environment. Additionally, your relevant skills in tutoring, adult education, and performing arts will enhance the educational experience, making you a vital part of our commitment to musical excellence and student growth.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement engaging music curricula tailored for various age groups, including adults and children.
- Conduct individual and group lessons, fostering a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Manage classroom dynamics effectively to ensure a productive learning atmosphere.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to enhance their musical skills.
- Collaborate with parents and guardians to support student development and address any concerns.
Requirements
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Must be willing to commit to lessons for the full length of the school year.
- Must have more than 5 years of music education and study.
- Must be willing to undergo a background check.
