About Eye Am Captain LLC
Eye Am Captain LLC is an independent record label focused on developing artists and creating original music from the ground up.
We are currently building the first artist project under the label and are looking for a skilled music production contractor to help improve the creative process, develop songs, and create professional-quality recordings.
This is an opportunity to work closely with an independent artist who is committed to improving, learning, and building a strong catalog over time.
About the Role
I'm looking for someone with strong musical instincts, production knowledge, and technical recording experience who can help take songs from early ideas to more developed productions.
The goal is not simply to record tracks. The goal is to create a consistent creative workflow where ideas become finished songs.
The ideal person enjoys collaborating, experimenting, and helping improve the quality of music through better arrangements, performances, recording techniques, and production decisions.
ResponsibilitiesSong Development & Production Support
- Help develop existing song ideas.
- Provide feedback on arrangements and production choices.
- Assist with turning demos into stronger productions.
- Help identify ways to improve songs before release.
- Assist with finishing songs that are currently in development.
Instrument Performance
Experience with one or more of the following is preferred:
- Guitar
- Bass
- Piano/Keys
- Synths
- MIDI programming
Responsibilities may include:
- Recording instrument parts.
- Creating supporting musical elements.
- Helping improve performances.
- Developing production ideas.
Recording & Mixing Support
Assist with:
- Logic Pro X workflows.
- Recording vocals and instruments.
- Editing and organizing sessions.
- Improving recording techniques.
- Basic mixing decisions.
- Preparing songs for professional mixing/mastering.
Experience with professional recording techniques is preferred.
Studio Environment
Eye Am Captain LLC has built a dedicated home recording environment designed for artist development and music creation.
This is not a commercial recording studio open to outside clients. It is a creative workspace focused on developing original music and building an artist catalog.
The space includes professional recording equipment, instruments, microphones, and production tools.
I'm looking for someone who can help maximize the potential of the environment while also bringing their own expertise and creative perspective.

- Has experience in Logic Pro X.

Long-Term Opportunity
This role is intended to grow into an ongoing working relationship.
Sessions may include:
- Developing new song ideas.
- Improving existing recordings.
- Recording instruments.
- Experimenting with arrangements.
- Learning better production workflows.
- Preparing music for release.
Not every idea will become a finished song, but every session is part of building a stronger creative process and catalog.
Credits & Ownership
This is a contractor position.
Contributors will receive appropriate professional credits for their work based on their contributions.
All ownership, master rights, and intellectual property arrangements will be defined through a written contractor agreement with Eye Am Captain LLC.
