About Ekko
Ekko is a music technology platform built to help artists scale creator-driven music promotion through paid vertical cover campaigns.
We connect artists, managers, labels, and their teams with singers and creators who are paid to create and post vertical covers of songs across platforms including TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts.
As we prepare to launch Ekko with a growing roster of artists and industry partners, we are looking for a highly organized, proactive Marketing & Artist Campaign Coordinator to help manage the moving pieces behind our artist campaigns, marketing initiatives, and launch schedule.
The Role
This is a hands-on position working directly with Ekko's Founder & CEO and serving as a central point of coordination between our internal team and the artists, managers, labels, publicists, marketing partners, and other representatives participating in Ekko campaigns.
You will help take campaigns from planning through launch and execution—making sure assets are collected, timelines are maintained, teams know what is needed from them, and nothing falls through the cracks.
This is an ideal role for someone who understands the pace of the music and entertainment industry, communicates well with talent and their representatives, and is exceptionally strong at organization and follow-through.
Key Responsibilities
- Work directly with Ekko's Founder & CEO to coordinate artist campaigns, platform marketing initiatives, and launch schedules.
- Serve as a day-to-day point of contact between Ekko and participating artists, managers, labels, PR teams, and marketing partners.
- Build and maintain campaign calendars, timelines, deliverables, and launch schedules across multiple artists and campaigns simultaneously.
- Coordinate the collection and organization of campaign assets, including artist content, announcement videos, artwork, links, song information, social media materials, and other required deliverables.
- Communicate campaign requirements, deadlines, and next steps clearly to artists and their representatives.
- Coordinate with Ekko's marketing, social media, PR, creative, and development teams to ensure campaigns are properly supported.
- Help plan and execute Ekko's overall launch calendar alongside individual artist campaign schedules.
- Track campaign progress and proactively follow up with internal and external stakeholders on outstanding deliverables.
- Help coordinate social media rollouts and promotional moments surrounding artist campaigns.
- Maintain organized records of campaign status, artist participation, assets, approvals, deadlines, and upcoming initiatives.
- Identify potential scheduling conflicts, missing assets, or other campaign issues before they become problems.
- Support additional artist relations, creator marketing, partnerships, and platform initiatives as Ekko grows.
What We're Looking For
- Extremely organized with strong attention to detail and follow-through.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfortable communicating professionally with artists, managers, labels, publicists, and other music industry professionals.
- Able to manage multiple campaigns, deadlines, conversations, and priorities at the same time.
- Proactive—you don't wait to be told that something is late or missing.
- Comfortable working directly with a founder in a fast-moving startup environment.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms including TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube.
- Familiarity with music marketing, artist campaigns, digital marketing, creator/influencer marketing, or entertainment is strongly preferred.
- Comfortable using project management, calendar, spreadsheet, and communication tools to keep teams organized.
- Able to adapt quickly as priorities and opportunities evolve.
Preferred Experience
Experience in one or more of the following is especially valuable:
- Record label or artist management
- Music marketing or digital marketing
- Artist relations
- Influencer or creator marketing
- Entertainment PR
- Campaign or project coordination
- Social media marketing
- Music or entertainment startups
Who Will Succeed in This Role
We're looking for someone who genuinely enjoys being the person who keeps everything moving.
You should be equally comfortable building a campaign calendar, following up with an artist's manager for an overdue asset, coordinating with our marketing team on a rollout, and making sure the Founder knows exactly where every campaign stands.
This role requires someone who can bring structure to a fast-moving environment while building strong relationships with the artists and industry partners we work with.
Why Ekko
You'll be joining Ekko at the ground level and playing a meaningful role in how we launch and grow the platform.
Rather than managing one artist or one marketing channel, you'll work across a growing network of artists, managers, labels, creators, and industry partners while helping build the operational foundation for how Ekko launches and supports campaigns at scale.
Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
